Matt has known about this race for over 10 years. He’s watched all of the videos, seen all of the places they’ve gone around the world, and knew it would be something that he’d enjoy.

But because he lives in Iowa, he thought he would never get that opportunity until he heard at the beginning of the year that Red Bull was coming to Des Moines.

He started developing a concept that would make him stand out and represent Des Moines in a nonconforming way.
